Mixed media piece “David” won first place at the Southern Arts Society, Inc. in Kings Mountain.
The juror for A Fresh Look 2014 show was Larry Elder, who said:
The first place winner,”David,” was a rather easy decision for me since it is an exquisite little painting. I liked the composition and the straight-forward nature of the piece. The artist controlled the medium in a masterful way. Bravo!
