This month’s gallery crawl at CAL (the Charlotte Art League) was a blast! I met a fellow artist, and as we began the usual formal “art chat”, I noticed her earrings: they were shaped like Daleks! I mentioned how great they were, and we began a fun and informal conversation. Also attending the show was her mother, who had a TARDIS iPhone cover! This was one of the more fun openings I’ve experienced, all because of some interesting earrings. The moral? Wear your fun and funky art attire to the next art event.
